Try the weather section of Seakayak.ws. There you will find.....

1. Five day weather forecast including winds for the next three days.

2. Maryland Wave heights.... predicted wave heights for the next week or so

3. Link to buoy observations which will give you the measured wind at several places over the last 24 hours - try the one at Tolchester for the most exposed conditions.

4. If you are more skilled in reading weather maps there are pressure maps for 1 through 5 day predictions.

If you feel you need glass conditions in order to be out then you should be paddling with others who are skilled in rescues, you should only paddle in the warmest of water temperatures..... and you should take some lessons. Be safe - always wear your PFD. Happy paddling.
