05/20/2004 06:58 PM Hank McComas - There is a large turn around at the end of Longbeach Drive on Coupon bight. There is plenty of room to park off the side of the road. A two track several 100 yards long then goes off into the mangroves. The water is close at high tide but will be a 100 yards offshore at low tide. Plan accordingly. The beach was covered is a thick slippery mat of turtle grass torn from the bottom by the windy conditions of the last week. There was a lot of junk floated up on the shoreline and trash consisting of bottles and cans from parties at the end of the road. Be careful.
